LIVENOW ONBOARDING PILOT CONTRACTORS

Stop chasing subcontractor insurance by email.

Verdalo uses AI to instantly read insurance certificates, catch hidden coverage gaps, and alert you before a lapse triggers a costly audit.

Designed for GCs and specialty trades managing 1–20 subs. No enterprise bloat.

THE COST OF NOT CATCHING IT

One lapsed certificate can cost more than the job was worth.

Most small contractors are still collecting insurance certificates by email, spreadsheet, or memory. It works — until a subcontractor's coverage lapses without anyone noticing.

0%+
of U.S. construction firms have fewer than 20 employees — exactly the segment most compliance software ignores.
1 sub
without valid coverage can get their labor reclassified at your carrier's next audit — at the sub's higher trade rate.
8 hrs
spent chasing renewals by email once Verdalo takes over your tracking.
HOW IT WORKS

Three steps, no manual review by default.

Upload once. Verdalo does the reading, the checking, and the reminding.

STEP 1

Upload the certificate

Drop in a photo, scan, or PDF — from your phone, your inbox, or a link you send the subcontractor directly.

STEP 2

Verdalo reads and checks it

Coverage limits, workers' comp, auto, and additional-insured status are extracted and checked against the minimums you require.

STEP 3

You get told what matters

A clear status per subcontractor, an expiring-soon list, and automatic renewal reminders sent before anything lapses.

WHY VERDALO

A certificate isn't the same as coverage.

Most tools stop at "did they submit a certificate." That checkbox has gotten contractors in real trouble — a certificate legally proves a policy exists, not that you're actually protected as an additional insured.

Verdalo

Not sure which fits? Count active subs you work with regularly, not everyone you've ever hired — and if you're near the top of a tier's range, sizing up now avoids hitting the cap in month two.

FAQ

Questions, answered honestly.

PRODUCT & HOW IT WORKS
What is Verdalo?
Verdalo reads subcontractor compliance documents — certificates of insurance, additional-insured endorsements, licenses, OSHA cards, W-9s, and workers' comp exemptions — using AI, and checks them against the coverage you actually require.
What happens if the AI isn't sure about something?
It doesn't guess. If a document is ambiguous, unsigned, or doesn't clearly match a subcontractor's profile, it's flagged for review instead of silently marked as fine — you always know the difference between "confirmed" and "needs a second look."
Do my subcontractors need to create an account?
No. You send them a simple upload link — they submit a document, no login or app required on their end.
Does this replace tools like Procore or QuickBooks?
No — Verdalo does one thing specifically: subcontractor compliance verification. It's not trying to replace your project management or accounting software.
PRICING & BILLING
How much does it cost?
Three tiers based on how many subs you're tracking: $89/month (1–5 subs), $159/month (6–15), and $249/month (16–30). Full breakdown is in the Pricing section above.
Is there a contract?
No — month-to-month, no annual commitment.
Do you offer a free trial?
Yes — every new account starts with a 7-day free trial. A card is required to start, but you won't be charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel anytime before then at no cost.
CANCELING & CHANGING PLANS
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes — cancel anytime, no notice period, no cancellation fees.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your data is kept for 15 days in case you'd like to return, then permanently deleted. We keep this window short and deliberate — you're trusting us with sensitive subcontractor information, and we'd rather not hold onto it longer than genuinely useful.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes — upgrade or downgrade anytime as the number of subs you're tracking changes.
TRUST & SECURITY
Is my data safe with a new company?
Sensitive fields like Social Security numbers are automatically redacted to the last 4 digits before storage, and each contractor's data is kept fully isolated from every other contractor's. We're early-stage and don't hold a formal certification like SOC 2 yet — we'd rather tell you that plainly than imply otherwise.
